“The reason for this is our conviction that this phenomenon of ‘botellon’ in several sites in the city is damaging, having an impact on the level of urban security”, explained the verifier of Economic Activities and Taxation. The measure enters into force in the next quarter.
The schedules will have limited hours and more severe penalties are introduced, including the precautionary closure of infringement facilities.
After the changes to the sale of alcoholic beverages in the Content Zone - where this is only allowed in coffee, bars, restaurants and discotheques - the rules apply to the whole city from Thursday.
