Clinton, Jefferson, Marion and Washington counties have a new Regional Superintendent of Education. John Consolino of Salem has been sworn in to replace retiring Superintendent Matt Renaud. Consolino previously served five years as assistant superintendent and says his priorities include supporting students, helping schools with professional development and assisting districts with a growing number of Freedom of Information Act requests.
