The corruption investigation targeting Yahşihan Municipality in Kırıkkale has been expanded. In simultaneous operations across two provinces, 9 suspects were taken into custody, and hundreds of properties and 2 vehicles were seized. An unlicensed handgun and 11,312 rounds of ammunition were found in the home of the deputy mayor, who is alleged to be the "treasurer" of the arrested former mayor.
In the second wave of operations in the corruption investigation targeting Yahşihan Municipality, 9 suspects, including Deputy Mayor Aydın Demirdirek, were taken into custody. As part of the investigation, a seizure order was applied to 2,031 properties, and 1,000 properties registered in the name of the Deputy Mayor were also seized.

As part of the corruption investigation conducted by the Kırıkkale Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Yahşihan Municipality, extensive seizure orders were issued. 1,630 properties registered in the name of Deputy Mayor Satılmış Serkan Yıldıran were identified, while over 2,000 properties and luxury vehicles belonging to relatives of municipal officials and the former head of urban planning were also seized.
In the second wave of the investigation into Yahşihan Municipality, 9 suspects were detained, including Deputy Mayor Aydın Demirdirek. It was found that there were 1,630 real estate properties registered in the name of the Deputy Mayor.
