The District Prosecutor's Office in Katowice has dismissed two proceedings concerning a tragic accident on the A1 motorway near Sierosław, near Piotrków Trybunalski, in September 2023. A family of three died in the accident. The suspect in causing the accident, BMW driver Sebastian M., fled to the United Arab Emirates.

Two of the four investigations into the fatal accident on the A1 motorway, which Sebastian M. is suspected of causing, have been discontinued. Investigators found no wrongdoing in the work of the police officers at the scene.
