LAS CRUCES, New Mexico - New Mexico State picked up their first conference win of the season Thursday night taking down the Sam Houston Bearkats, 37-10. The win also snapped a two game losing skid. NMSU improved their overall record to 3-2, while their conference record now stands at 1-1. LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) — Logan Fife threw for a touchdown and ran for another score, and New Mexico State scored 14 fourth-quarter points in 54 seconds to help beat Sam Houston 37-10 on Thursday night.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Coming off of just five days' rest, Head Coach Tony Sanchez guided the Aggies to their most dominant wins of his tenure, beating Sam Houston 37-10 in a midweek Conference USA matchup at Aggie Memorial Stadium. The win moves the Aggies to 3-0 at home for the first time since 2007 and pushes NM State to its seventh 3-2 start to a season since 1975.
