New Data on the Neolithic Village of the Tiergé in Rosières-Près-Troyes (Aube)

Summary by Inrap
At the place known as "Le Tiergé", about 200 m north of the Triffoire, a tributary of the Seine, the Inrap discovered an occupation of the ancient Neolithic (5300 - 4800 B.C.) on an area of 3500 m2. Significant erosion, partly due to the agricultural exploitation of the plot, unevenly affects the remains of this occupation, which seems to have been of great importance on a regional scale.
