Singapore wants humanoid robots working beside its Home Team officers by 2028, and the agency behind the plan has opened a centre to train them for the job. The Home Team Humanoid Robotics Centre, known as H2RC, was launched by HTX, the Home Team Science and Technology Agency that develops technology for the Ministry of Home Affairs. The first tasks under study are the ones that put people in harm's way.
