The name of the new bridge that will connect Porto to Vila Nova de Gaia was announced at the “135 Years of Creating Bridges Conference”, published by Jornal de Notícias.
The bridge will serve the future Rubi Line, which will connect Casa da Música, in Porto, to the Santo Ovideo roundabout, in Vila Nova de Gaia, by metro.
