Much of Nevada Remains in Moderate to Extreme Drought

More than half of Nevada remains in some form of a drought. That is according to the latest Drought Monitor map. Most of Southern Nevada, including Las Vegas, is in an extreme to exceptional drought. Most of Northern Nevada, including Reno, is considered abnormally dry, while other parts of the region, like Fernley, are in a moderate drought. Even though we finished the snow season in April around average, parts of Nevada are in a drought, especially southern Nevada, where Clark County is in an extreme drought.
