WALKER RIVER ANNOUNCES SIGNIFICANT GOLD INTERCEPTS AT THE LAPON GOLD PROJECT

New drilling results show gold grades over long intervals and confirm expansion into multiple bedrock units, supporting an upcoming NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate.

  • Earlier this year, Walker River Resources Corp. announced additional assay results from its reverse circulation drill program at Lapon Canyon, within Nevada's Walker Lane, 60 km SE of Yerington.
  • The 2025 drill program is exploration and definition focused, and the Lapon Canyon portion is under a $5m USD exploration stream earn-in agreement with Nevada Canyon Gold Corp .
  • Drill holes LC-25-143 returned 1.76 g/t Au over 35.1 meters and LC-25-149 yielded 2.35 g/t Au over 45.7 meters, Walker River says.
  • With mineralization now found in new bedrock units, the company says drilling confirmed gold extends south and east of the Hotspot beyond FeOx-sericite altered granite, boosting project potential.
  • The Lapon Gold Project covers 147 claims in the Wassuk Range on the Walker Lane shear zone, with a historical A adit sample of 20.6 ounces per ton Au and the Rattlesnake area 3 km on strike and 600 meters above current drilling.
