Neusser Thomy Plant Closes: Nestlé Wants to Pay "Extensive Severance Payments"

The Neusser Thomy plant will be closed in the middle of 2026. According to the responsible Nestlé group, the works council and management have now agreed on a compensation of interests plus a social plan.

There is now a social plan for the staff of the Neusser Thomy plant. The plant is due to close next year.

The food giant Nestlé wants to reduce costs with a factory closure. For the 145 jobs at the Thomy-Werk Neuss there is now a social plan. 30 employees can continue in Münsterland.
