NetDragon and Open University Malaysia Sign Strategic MOU to Jointly Explore New Models of AI-Powered Open Education
The partnership will develop AI-driven teaching tools, blockchain credentialing, and micro-credentials to enhance personalized learning and vocational training at Open University Malaysia.
- On Oct. 26, 2025, NetDragon Websoft Holdings Limited and Open University Malaysia signed a strategic MOU in Fuzhou, Changle, by Mr. Chen Hong and Prof. Datuk Dr. Mohd Tajudin Md Ninggal, witnessed by Dr. Simon Leung and Prof. Datin Dr. Santhi Raghavan.
- NetDragon and OUM intend to focus on AI-driven content, certification and laboratory development, skills enhancement, and a digital education ecosystem under a mutual cooperation framework.
- OUM and NetDragon will establish a joint AI Research and Innovation Laboratory, develop AI-driven teaching content, integrate OUM's LMS with a psychological wellness dashboard, AI-enhanced psychometric profiling, and explore blockchain-based digital credentialing.
- OUM expects improved teaching effectiveness as learners gain insights into behaviors and emotions, while micro-credential courses and TVET programs aim to boost employability.
- NetDragon plans to scale its 'AI + Open Education' model by using its AI Content Factory to develop a global learning metaverse and expand across Belt and Road countries, with Mynd.ai reaching over 1 million learning spaces in 126 countries.
