Netanyahu acknowledges halt in fighting with Iran but vows to respond ‘with force’ to future attacks
Israel struck targets in Iran for the first time since a ceasefire in April, after Iran fired missiles at Israel in retaliation for Israeli strikes on Lebanon's capital.
Israel and Iran both stopped fighting on June 8 after President Trump told them to cease, but both left open the chance of future conflict.
Netanyahu said Israel would respond with force if Iran attacks again following the ceasefire agreement.
Netanyahu stated that Israel will not allow Tehran or Hezbollah to create a new security situation and remains in contact with US President Trump.
