  • Global Times reported that an additional 3 million cubic metres of water could enter the lake within three days, significantly increasing breach risk.
  • Nepal's Department of Hydrology and Meteorology issued urgent warnings for residents along the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli rivers, advising people to remain in safe locations.
  • Rastriya Swatantra Party president Rabi Lamichhane urged diplomatic consultations with China during a Thursday meeting, as leaders recommended establishing a robust cross-border disaster management system.
