Nebraska baseball earns No. 13 national seed in Lincoln Regional
On Monday, Ole Miss baseball was selected for the Lincoln Regional, joining host Nebraska, Arizona State, and South Dakota State for double-elimination play beginning Friday, May 29.
The Rebels enter after losing 10-8 to Missouri in the SEC Tournament's first round, though Coach Mike Bianco has led Ole Miss to the NCAA Tournament in 19 of his 25 seasons, including a national championship in 2022.
Cole Carlon, Arizona State's ace pitcher, will likely start Friday against the Rebels, backed by Big 12 Player of the Year Landon Hairston .
The regional winner advances to the Super Regionals by June 1 in a best-of-three series against the Auburn Regional champion, earning a berth toward the College World Series.
Tickets for the Lincoln Regional go on sale to the public Tuesday, May 26, at 3 p.m., with reserved seats priced at $91 and adult general admission at $56.
