The Cambridge Police Department has released a video showing two officers pull an incapacitated person off the tracks at an MBTA station moments before a train arrives. The harrowing video was recorded by a body camera on Dec. 27 at Central Square Station, as officers were alerted to a person who had fallen onto the tracks and was unable to move.

Cambridge police released body cam video of the moment officers rescued a man from the Red Line tracks at Central Station. Last month officers hopped onto the tracks to save the man, lifting him onto the platform. Police did not say how he wound up on the tracks, but the MBTA reported the incident at the time as a medical emergency.
