NCDOT ferry system adds summer routes for Pamlico Sound

A state ferry arrives at the Swan Quarter dock. Photo: N.C. Ferry Division The Swan Quarter-Ocracoke and Cedar Island-Ocracoke ferries have begun offering additional routes across the Pamlico Sound to accommodate summer traffic. As of Tuesday, the schedule for these ferries are as follows:
