MANILA, PHILIPPINES—The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) announced on Friday the arrest of six individuals for allegedly offering parliamentary seats in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) in exchange for P15 million. NBI Director Jaime Santiago said the arrests stemmed from a complaint filed on December 29, 2024.
