While news of the decision of the Semarnat to cancel a megapark in Mahahual was circulating throughout the country, four inhabitants of Las Cocinas beach, in the municipality of Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit, learned that the State Prosecutor's Office had released several arrest warrants against them after they protested, on 27 April, against the construction of a luxury complex on the shore of the beach.
