The mother of Alexei Navalny, the main critic of Vladimir Putin who died in prison under suspicious circumstances, visited his grave on Saturday, a day after a funeral at which thousands of Russians paid tribute to him, risking being arrested. Liudmila was accompanied by the mother of Alexei's widow, but the Russians formed a queue again on Saturday to lay flowers on the grave of the deceased opposition politician.
The Russian opposition to Vladimir Putin, who died in prison under suspicious circumstances on February 16, 2024, was buried in the Borissovo cemetery, in the south of Moscow.
Many people also drop flowers at Borisovskoye Cemetery the day after Alexei Navalny's funeral. The mother of the deceased also visited the grave again.
