Natural gas price touches target – Forecast todsay

According to the Federal Statistical Office, electricity and natural gas are significantly more expensive than before Russia's attack on Ukraine, but most recently prices only increased moderately. Union and SPD want to relieve consumers.

The impact on the monthly bill will be between 63 and 87 cents for the most representative types of consumption. In the last five years, the final price registered an average annual variation of 5.1%. The free market, with 1.1 million customers, will have variable prices depending on the merchants.

Although energy prices are only rising slightly, the difference is enormous compared to the time before the Russian attack on Ukraine. Higher taxes and charges also contributed to the increase in energy prices.

Energy prices remain at a very high level. Electricity cost consumers an average of 41.20 cents per kilowatt hour in the second half of last year. Who pays how much, and what role does the tax burden play?

The Slovak Gas Industry has established a subsidiary, SPP plus, which is to ensure the purchase and transportation of natural gas through the territory of Ukraine in the future.
