Nato's deputy commander in Europe is warning that Russian president Vladimir Putin is becoming increasingly reckless as the war in Ukraine drags on and as he seeks to divide Western allies
A NATO commander sends out a warning about the evolution of Vladimir Putin's behaviour, on the basis of the war in Ukraine. Sir John Stringer says that the Kremlin leader is becoming "more and more careless, dangerous and taking his risks and warns that Moscow might try to provoke an exaggerated reaction from the Alliance. In Europe, fears about sabotage, espionage, cyber attacks and drone incidents are growing.
As the war in Ukraine drags on, Vladimir Putin is becoming more risk-averse and more dangerous, the deputy supreme commander of the Russian Armed Forces said.
"Putin is looking at a whole range of things to try to create division among NATO allies," Stringer said.
