National Triglyceride Alliance Celebrates One Year of Impact and Recognizes National Triglycerides Day

This month the National Triglyceride Alliance celebrates its one-year anniversary, announced from Boulder, Colo., on March 18, 2026, coinciding with National Triglycerides Day on March 28.
Founded to raise recognition of triglycerides as a critical risk factor, the Alliance grew into a national coalition uniting clinicians, researchers, advocates, and patients and welcomed seven partner organizations including the American Society for Preventive Cardiology and National Lipid Association.
Guided by a Scientific Advisory Committee, the Alliance launched a case-based educational module series and an expert-led podcast, with Seth J. Baum saying, 'In just one year, we've seen what is possible when a community unites around an unmet medical need.'
Broader educational reach and clearer clinical pathways are planned by the NTA to improve clinician awareness and patient outcomes for triglyceride-related conditions.
