From Bolívar, the president of Ecuador, Daniel Noboa, again pronounced on the warnings of a national strike announced by the Conaie and the indigenous movement of Cotopaxi. One day after the call for an indefinite national strike in rejection of the elimination of the subsidy to diesel, Noboa rejected on September 19th.
The Indigenous and Peasant Movement of Cotopaxi decided this September 18 to join the national strike called by the Conaie in rejection of the elimination of the subsidy to diesel.
