(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville Police and Fire departments and the Coalition for a Drug Free Batesville will host National Night Out on Wednesday, August 5 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Liberty Park. It’s a free, family-friendly event designed to build community and camaraderie while promoting cooperation with public safety teams. Organizers say the event will feature food, games, fun, and your chance to meet first responders in a casual setting. National Night Out in Batesville will also serve as a drug take back event. They’ll collect unused or expired prescription medications for safe and responsible disposal.
