National coach Arjan Veurink has had three players sidelined with injuries during the preparation for the friendly against Portugal. Jill Roord, Janou Levels, and Lotte Keukelaar are no longer in the squad due to injuries. Veurink has called up Nina Nijstad, Danique Tolhoek, and Kayleigh van Dooren as replacements. "November is always a challenging month. For me as a coach, the health of the players is my top priority," Veurink said in Zeist.
