Abuja -- THE Senate and House of Representatives of the National Assembly have extended the date for the resumption of plenary sessions by one week, running from Tuesday, 29th April 2025, to Tuesday, 6th May 2025.

Kamoru Ogunlana, clerk of the national assembly, says both chambers of the legislature have extended their resumption date by one week. Senators and house of representative members commenced their latest recess on March 27 and were billed to return to legislative business on April 29.
