- NASA and SpaceX delayed the mission from its original September 12 launch date after detecting an oxidizer leak in the Dragon spacecraft, Grace, forcing engineers to replace a propulsion system valve before proceeding.
- Commander Jessica Watkins leads the mission alongside pilot Luke Delaney, a Volusia County native, and mission specialists Joshua Kutryk and Sergey Teteryatnikov. Delaney noted, "It feels great; it just might be the weather."
- Following a successful Flight Readiness Review on Friday, the crew is scheduled to lift off no earlier than 11:10 a.m. EDT on Thursday, Oct. 1, from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
