[Nago] A new harvest festival for Haneji rice was held on the 18th at the JA Okinawa Farmers Market Yanbaru "Hai-sai! Yanbaru Market" in Miyazato, Nago City. Five stores, including the market, are selling 5kg bags of Haneji rice for a special price of 3,500 yen (tax included) until the 20th. The first harvest, planted in early March and harvested in early July, yielded an average yield of 52 tons of brown rice.
