Mysuru BJP releases ‘Ballari Chalo’ posters, backs 10-day padayatra
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch a 10-day ‘Ballari Chalo’ padayatra from Raichur to Ballari on Tuesday, highlighting the alleged failures of the Congress government and demanding accountability over the alleged “embezzlement of funds from the State-run Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation Limited.”
BJP has started the Bellary Chalo Padayatra from today, demanding the return of money in the wake of the Valmiki Development Corporation scam. B.Y. Vijayendra is leading this yatra, which will start from Lingasugur in Raichur and cover 170 km in 10 days. Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar has called a meeting of Kalyana Karnataka MLAs to formulate a counter-strategy.
