Mystery as couple found shot dead at $1.2million California home
Investigators have not ruled out murder-suicide after the couple’s firearm was found at the scene, and police said there was no ongoing threat.

- Oakland Police Assistant Chief Casey Johnson said the victims were 63 and 61 years old. Investigators are not ruling out a possible murder-suicide, with Johnson stating, "We aren't looking currently for anyone at large."
- Neighbor Alessandro Isolani reported hearing "two bangs, not too far apart, one louder, the other more muffled." He described Bryan as "a good guy, solid member of the community" after 20 years on Panoramic Hill.
- The shooting occurred at approximately 10:43 a.m. near the University of California, Berkeley campus, just east of the city limit. Authorities continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
