The place where I was born and grew up, Asturias, is farther away from Murcia than many North African cities. Because of the avatars of life I have taken root here and I have always felt welcome and accepted. I want through these lines to vindicate all those Murtians who live together in peace, who understand immigration as a source of cultural and economic wealth and who have assisted impotently the shameful spectacle that a few have undertaken…
