The macro-party leans in favour of Pierre-Yves Bournazel, Horizons' candidate in the capital, according to Franck Riester in charge of the elections in the formation led by Gabriel Attal on Tuesday, 21 October.
The local leadership of the Renaissance party opted for support for Pierre-Yves Bournazel's candidacy against Rachida Dati in the upcoming municipal elections in Paris in 2026.
The presidential party must decide, by the end of the month, its position for the March 2026 elections in the capital. The most likely outcome is support for the candidate invested by Horizons.
