On 13 January, Catherine Trautmann presented to the press various measures in the areas of housing, health, mobility, education and public services. Insisting on the idea that "beyond purchasing power, it is the power of living that is at stake", candidate PS wants free transport for the aged 65 and the first 15 m3 of water, but also less expensive parking.
Catherine Trautmann unveiled on Tuesday 13 January the third part of her political project, devoted to the cost of living and the defence of the "essential rights" of Strasbourgers and Strasbourgers. The socialist candidate hopes to capitalize on the discontent created by the policy on the parking of ecologists.
In the face of a city that has become "too expensive" for its inhabitants, candidate PS Catherine Trautmann presents her first social measures. Free public transport for the over 65s, decrease of resident parking, supervision of rents, communal mutual, first cubic meters of free water... Concrete answers put in place "from the first year" if she is elected mayor in March.
