- Filed before the ACJM , 3rd Court, Esplanade Court, Mumbai, the chargesheet invokes Indian Penal Code provisions for criminal conspiracy, cheating, criminal breach of trust, and dishonest receipt of stolen property.
- This action follows 20 previous chargesheets filed against developers including Jaypee Infratech and Ajnara India, marking the agency's widening crackdown on real estate fraud.
- Separately, the CBI is investigating 32 additional cases registered under Supreme Court directions, targeting builder companies and financial institution officials involved in alleged cheating and fund diversion.
