Multiple Mid-Missouri athletes bring home hardware at day one of MSHSAA Track & Field Championships

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ) Day one of the the 100th edition of the MSHSAA Track and Field Championships are a wrap out at Adkins Stadium, in Jefferson City, and multiple Mid-Missouri athletes came away with some hardware. The two-weekend event got kicked off on Friday, as schools in class one through three competed to find the top steps on the podium. Mid-Missouri came away with five gold medal finishes in day one.
