Ongehoord Nederland states that ‘too little consideration was given to the sensitivities’ surrounding the segment featuring Adolf Hitler in the online program Let’s Twist Again. This is according to General Director Peter Vlemmix. In the program, it was said that the German dictator was sometimes right. The statement was made during a discussion about his fight against globalism.
MPs from PRO, CDA, and D66 are urging the departure of Ongehoord Nederland (ON!) from public broadcasting, after it was stated in a discussion program that Adolf Hitler was sometimes right. In Germany, this carries a prison sentence of up to three years.
It is certainly not the first time that leading figures of Ongehoord have idolized Hitler.
