- On Tuesday, the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, approved development and welfare proposals exceeding Rs 24,500 crore, including a 20 per cent reservation for Agniveers in state uniformed services.
- Recruitment for Constable posts in the Home Department will reserve 10 per cent for Home Guards, 5 per cent for veterans, and 20 per cent for Agniveers, addressing youth employment in uniformed services.
- In education, the Cabinet sanctioned Rs 348.07 crore for Direct Benefit Transfer uniform assistance to students in Classes 1 to 8, plus Rs 5,329.17 crore for the guest teacher honorarium scheme over five years.
- The Council of Ministers authorized infrastructure upgrades, including Rs 372.12 crore for Singrauli District Hospital expansion and Rs 953.69 crore for Chhindwara Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital, alongside irrigation projects in Datia, Neemuch, and Sagar.
- Further approvals include Rs 1,342.48 crore for Law and Legislative Affairs Department schemes during the 16th Finance Commission period and funds for the Kanh Diversion Closed Duct Project to protect the Shipra River.

Agniveers who have completed four years of military service will get 20% reservation in 5 uniform services of MP. For this, the existing quota of home guards and ex-servicemen will not be reduced.
