Mozambique and South Africa Join Efforts Against Xenophobia

Maputo -- The governments of Mozambique and South Africa have joined efforts in order to discourage xenophobic acts committed by South African citizens against foreigners of African origin.

Mozambique has dispatched a Labour Ministry delegation to South Africa to assess the safety and rights of Mozambican workers following a surge in xenophobic attacks and anti‑migrant protests targeting Africans in several South African cities.
