Jersey Mike's replaced Chick-fil-A as the top-rated quick-service restaurant on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index , scoring 84 out of 100 versus Chick-fil-A's 83.
Results from 16,464 customer surveys conducted between April 2025 and March 2026 ended Chick-fil-A's 11-year run, with respondents favoring Jersey Mike's for freshness, food variety, and value.
Mobile app satisfaction surged 12% to 87 in 2026, while website and mobile app quality satisfaction both increased by 4%, reflecting industry efforts to reduce friction in digital ordering.
Burger King and Culver's led the burger category, while Starbucks dominated coffee; McDonald's ranked seventh with a score of 72, failing to break the top five.
Jersey Mike's added 238 net new locations in 2025 and cleared $4.2 billion in sales, a notable achievement as the broader restaurant industry struggled to keep pace with inflation.
