Mother, NAACP question why Hampden County school district’s inquiry didn’t include target of racist behavior

SOUTHWICK — The mother of the student who alleged racist and bullying behavior involving a Hampden County school says the district closed an investigation without contacting her family.“I’m concerned that they have said it’s completed and that they haven’t informed me,” Allyson Lopez, the mother of the student, told The Republican. “I don’t know how it’s complete if they haven’t spoken to me or my daughter.”
