On 18 June, a 57-year-old man cut the power cables from three of the City of Fameck's poles on which video surveillance cameras were installed. A week later, he appeared before the Thionville court and acknowledged the facts. He reportedly did so at the request of young people in his neighbourhood, with whom he had been in debt.
