An explosion occurred in a chemical company in Saint-Avold in the middle of the night this Tuesday, without causing any injuries. Nearly 40 firefighters were deployed.
The explosion of a reactor, on Tuesday 20 January at 4 a.m., at SNF Coagulants, a chemical company, mobilised 60 firefighters in the Europort area in Saint-Avold. Fortunately, no injuries are to be deplored. The activity will remain at a standstill, until "the cause of the incident is known and the safety of the employees guaranteed", told the company.
