- On Thursday, Russia's Federal Security Service announced the arrest of a British Embassy guard in Moscow, accusing him of gathering sensitive details on British diplomats while acting on behalf of Ukraine's Security Service .
- The agency alleges Ukrainian intelligence planned to use this information for a false-flag attack against the British ambassador, intending to "draw the United Kingdom into a direct military conflict with Russia" to secure increased military aid from London.
- Known as "Apostle," Ukrainian blogger Dmytro Karpenko allegedly provided assignments to the guard, who collected personal details, home addresses, and internal embassy schedules to support the planned sabotage.
- Facing treason charges under Article 275 of Russia's Criminal Code, the guard remains in pre-trial detention as the FSB continues announcing arrests of individuals accused of working for Ukraine.
- Separately, London police arrested British resident Joshua Cammidge on Wednesday, accusing him of violating the National Security Act and suspecting him of cooperating with Russian intelligence.
