Morrisons customers warned not to eat product due to health risk

On October 21, 2025 Morrisons issued a 'do not eat' warning and recalled Morrisons Savers Salad Cream, telling shoppers to return it for a full refund, Morrisons said.
A supplier error meant egg and mustard were not declared on Morrisons Savers Salad Cream, creating a possible health risk for consumers with egg or mustard allergy or intolerance.
The product details show affected 420g bottles with batch code L25 122 and best-before End AUG/2026, while the Food Standards Agency issued notices explaining the recall.
Morrisons apologised for the inconvenience and said no other products are affected, and the FSA advised it to contact allergy support organisations to notify their members.
The FSA notes that recalls and Allergy Alerts happen when labelling is incorrect, similar to M&S recalling Milk Chocolate Honeycomb for undeclared peanuts.
