Morocco: the Return of Rain Welcomed by Farmers Despite Floods

After seven years of drought, nature is becoming more colourful in Morocco. The heavy rainfall of the last few weeks has given farmers hope again. In a few figures, it fell 121 millimetres of rain between September and January, double a year ago. The dams are now filled to 65%, they were only 28% before. Some regions are reviving, as is the case of Guelmim, in the south of the country, the "door of the Sahara".
