The majority of Poles are in favor of strengthening the powers of the president, a survey by the Pollster Institute for the daily Super Express showed. When asked who should have more power in the country, 52 percent of respondents answered in favor of the president and 38 percent in favor of the prime minister. More than half of Poles believe the president should have greater executive power, according to a poll conducted by the Pollster Research Institute. Meanwhile, 38% of respondents believe the prime minister should have greater powers. "Poles elect their president to exercise the prerogatives enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Poland. And to be their voice," Karol Nawrocki told Gość Wydarzeń.
