Monticello Baptists at odds with Texan for control of church | Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

In a lawsuit filed in January in Drew County Circuit Court on behalf of Monticello's Immanuel Baptist Church, Sherry O'Neill-Rawls and other longtime members said Timothy Lavon Rodgers, a Texas builder, initially offered to serve the church as a consultant. Then he began to "assert control over the church which was not contemplated by the Trustees or Members of the church," the suit says.
