Royal Ascot Fist Fight as Men in Suits Brawl at Berks Racecourse
BERKSHIRE, ENGLAND, JUN 20 – The fight erupted amid high spirits and alcohol, with one man left bloodied and the other restrained, marking a rare violent incident at the high-profile event.
A violent brawl broke out on June 21, 2025, at the prestigious Royal Ascot racecourse in Berkshire involving two men in suits exchanging punches.
The cause of the fight remains unclear, but similar violent incidents have occurred at the event in recent years, including one last year leaving a racegoer covered in blood.
Guests and bystanders attempted to break up the fight amid shocked onlookers and a crowd gathering, while some shouted 'Stop, stop, boys' and a woman trying to intervene was seemingly hit.
Video footage circulating on social media showed the man in beige suit landing the first punch before the grey-suited man overpowered him, with the initiator falling and hitting his head, resulting in profuse bleeding.
Authorities from Thames Valley Police have been approached for their response, while the incident raises continuing worries about rising violence tarnishing the event’s esteemed status.
