According to the Bouches-du-Rhône prefecture, there were 99 police officers directly linked to the riots and 118 law enforcement officers injured during the Saturday day in Marseilles.
Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez announced that he would go to Marseilles on Monday, where "exacts (were) committed by several thousand ultra-left-wing individuals".
